RISETEK Partners with AvidXChange Music Factory to Deliver “Frictionless” Parking Solution

AvidxChange Music Factory is a world-class mixed-use entertainment complex located in downtown Charlotte, North Carolina. The Music Factory campus houses topflight venues including the Charlotte Metro Credit Union Amphitheatre, The Fillmore, The Underground, WORLD Nightclub, and The Comedy Zone, as well as multiple quality restaurants and bars. With over 500 events each year on top of heavy restaurant and bar activity parking was challenging to manage and at times frustrating for customers.

RISETEK partnered with TEZ and Music Factory leadership to deploy an innovative mobile payment and parking enforcement approach. Previously parking was managed with expensive staffing hand collecting parking fees from customers.

The conversion to frictionless parking has dramatically reduced operating costs, increased revenues, and improved the customer experience at Music Factory. Now customers simply park, pay their parking fee from their phone using Text2Park, and enjoy the show they came to see, while no longer experiencing delays waiting in line to pay for their parking.

RISETEK provides its innovative parking enforcement solution to ensure everyone has parked in the proper lot and paid their parking fee. Parking citations are issued for customers parked without payment, with repeat violators being immobilized using RISETEK’s patented self-releasing Intelliboot. Booted customers have the option of paying their unpaid tickets online, or through RISTEK’s 24/7 Customer Support Center.

Upon payment, customers are issued a release code to remove their vehicle boot. Boots are then dropped by the customer in RISETEK’s boot return stations on-site. The entire booting process can be completed in under 15 minutes, making getting booted a less painful experience for the customer.
